- The Bandwagon by Clude Shannon, Father of Information Theory. - It is a must read note by a scientist who revolutionised the modern world with his theory. He can be put in the Original thinker's list. Plus he was aware of how Modern culture destroys meaning behind real things and the real thing gets stretched by media and popular culture and selective attention thus reaction by Normal majority.
- Never better or getting worse? - Key takeaway: We're all prisoners of our narratives. We’re always operating with just a slice of information and context, and we over extrapolate those things to suit our priors. And our conscious brain has just 512KB of memory. It’s nowhere near suited to large amounts of facts and forming opinions. Availability bias is strong among all of us, and we’re mostly acting based on salient information.

Plus from a twitter spaces earlier where I found out about bhuvan, the guy behind this blog as Nitin mentioned him as the curator for him and his team who sort of curates crazy stuff from the internet everyday. Internet is such crazy place and if you follow along with infromation on different medium and do some follow up based on indirect information you do end up with crazy things. Based on my personal experience it's a nice practice.
