- Are VCs creating Bubble by Misallocation of resources (money)? - Well as you know we live in Startup frenzy times especially backed by Silicon valley successes of recent times. I mean even if it has always been like this but now with the help of media and funding resources the limelight Startups are achieving is really really greater than that of Long term growth companies. I wonder where all these money goes in the system in the end? Need to research on that. But yeah well I'm wondering about this topic lately. Well only Time will tell and I hope the opening statement proves to be wrong. Anyways it'll be a real time learning/study for a spectator like me.
Though the pro startup me (for the VC space) would say Startups are good for economy and society in large scale as they're basically real time experiments about products and services that may work/ get adopted by large pool of/ maximum users funded by some likeminded individuals (with somewhat experience being a founder) to facilitate and nurture ideas by an individual with limitations of funds to get it rolling. And as one of the main goal of any startup remains product/market fit and innovation is nurtured its usually good for society. [I think I should write an article on this pro startup topic and submit it to publish on msuvision2020].
